Beloved island artists Brian Green, Tina Jones, and Nathan Tinkham come together for a sweet circle of island song, blending their unique styles.
Brian Green is a songwriter in British Columbia, Canada, where he performs alone, with his partner, Megan, and with the band Lone Crow Jubilee. He plays music that feels traditional – sometimes straight-up country; sometimes old school folk, sometimes rootsy rock’n’roll.
Gabriola’s multi-talented Tina Jones is at home wherever she finds herself, and that might be playing her own songs solo, or leading a big band. From astonishing vocal performances to adept improvisations on horns and piano, Tina continues to amaze her many fans from coast to coast.
Grizzled veteran of the Canadian folk and country scenes, Nathan Tinkham started his career in the early 70s busking on the streets of Victoria. Over the next forty years he worked and recorded with Ian Tyson, Wilf Carter, Cindy Church, Quartette, Diamond Joe White, Undertakin’ Daddies, Great Western Orchestra and a host of others.
